Proto`s Pizza in Lafayette

The white pizza was very, very dry. White pizzas are, by nature, light on sauce but they generally have some sort of sauce or oil that makes them at least somewhat moist...otherwise it's like eating a burnt cracker with cheese on it. Unfortunately, that's what my experience was. I'll have to look elsewhere for a good white pizza.

Exactly what we needed after our moving day to Lafayette. I mean look at that pizza bubble mountain range?! Yes. Pictures speak for themselves but the ingredients were fresh and plenty. Good selection for vegetarian and meat eaters alike. 👍

Great pizza....but they are very stingy with their toppings. I once ordered a pizza with spinach and black olives....I think I counted 6 black olives on the entire pizza. The food is quite good, however. Good drinks too...but a tad pricey. I would give four stars if not for the toppings issue.

First time ordering was last night. Wasn't ready in 20 min as I was told when I called in the order. Was actually 40 min. and they apologized for the wait. Pizza was good but I do have a concern I'd like to share with the kitchen manager if you will reply.

If you charge for a large, make it a large, not whatever this is supposed to be. Had a hard time finding it due to the awful signage and forgetting my cell phone. I should have opened the box ordering from a pizza shop that is new to me , and i can own that but, this is supposed to be your largest size and it barely fills the box. They should be ashamed, more than likely won't order from here again.

The Ultimate is delicious! With great service and Italian cream soda, Protos is a good choice for pizza night.

Grub was uber yummy. Our waitress and the whole lot of the staff provided pitstamding and friendly service to our party of 8. Thank you, Proto's. We'll be back!

After months of home cooking I craved pizza - not any ordinary pizza but pizza like I’ve had in Italy... Proto Pizza to the rescue - perfect thin crust and delicious toppings - my favorite is The Marguerite. Absolutely delicious and worth a drive to Lafayette...excellent covid safety measures. I did takeout but would feel safe to eat in too...

Sat at porch corner table with view of a grassy field. The food was excellent. They still had limited seating due to covid nonsense, so come early or reserve.

This place is just terrific, a true gem of Hwy 287. The pizza has perfect crust, and delicious red sauce that you can tell is home made, as well as excellent toppings. Had great service every time we have been there. Happy hour has $1 off beer wine and cocktails. I definitely recommend you stop by or even plan a trip to Proto's, especially if you need a change in your pizza routine. A+

A local gem. Really good pizza and friendly staff. We had the Low Rider and the Proto pizzas. Very good.

Great tasting pizza, can add or take away ingredients. Good bargain for the price. Attentive wait staff.

Always great pizza and service. Pick ups are quick. Have been coming to the various Protos for years, and its always good. My suggestion is the Atomica with added prosciutto, amazing.

It was OK. Hubs loves thin pizza like what you get here; I’m more of a deep dish gal. He liked it more than I did. It was pretty pricey which was a downside but you can definitely tell the ingredients are fresh. He is a chef so we are fairly picky about what we eat when eating out, and he gives this place a thumbs up. However, if you’re like me and like thicker/softer crust, go elsewhere.
